HUE Postprocessing
Now DoughHUE has been released, Let's explain several features I want to implement:
Hue/Lightness saturation
I had the honor that Mark Ferrari explain how it creates colors for palettes http://www.markferrari.com/blog/2019/1/13/post-2-as-promised-something-again and I have to dig it to understand all he is explaining
Let's take the Dig which has a saturated palette to view how we can change the ambient:
If you want to change the ambient of an image in Photoshop, you have to convert the image from Indexed (with the palette you finally achieved) to RGB. And then you apply the Hue/ Saturation effect, but it applies to the whole image, so it is a hard process to change the ambient of the scene to test several options and keep some parts the same, This is the result:
In the next release of DoughHUE you can keep some parts of the image with the same tone, and change the tone of the sky, for example:
This feature makes easy to test several options and decide the final effect. It is more precise and non destructive. I will implement the option to save the post processing palette, and saving the degrees and the offsets in a json file.
Color Picker
Reading the Aseprite github I watch https://github.com/aseprite/aseprite/issues/972 where I read that a great feature is having the following color suggestions:
I will make a very similar, with an option to choose the amount of color and sliders to wide or narrow the colors.
Apart every color you click it will be pasted to clipboard. I will try to make some way to paste in Aseprite, Gimp or Photoshop using plugins or any other possibility.
All about a color
When I released UWP Technical guide free Windows 10 app (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/uwp-technical-guide/9nblggh5241d), I added a section with a lot of information about a color:
I will implement all in a more compact and clean section, to keep the app easy to use.
Of course if you wish any feature just tell me.
Thank you for all the app supporters, it makes creating app more enjoyable.
