DoughHUE 1.1


First of all, thank you for the support, I never thought this warm welcome to this project. Now I have finished the Color Details and generator milestone, let's take a look what's new.

New release 1.1

  • Included a powerful color picker with integrated colors generator, with changes in lighting and hue at the same time like in pro palettes.
  • New image processing library to optimize for x64.
  • Click on colors to copy into the Clipboard.
  • Improved performance.

The professional palettes used in many adventure games changes at HUE, Saturation and Lightness at the same time. Let's see some examples from Mark Ferrari in Thimbleweed Park and The Secrect of Monkey Island:

In DoughHUE, the new color details panel allows you to create  a lot of derived from a source color, you can create just simply changes in HUE or in Lightness or change both.

In this case I am using a photo and I can extract the palette and make a custom gradient changing the HUE and the Lightness for my games:


At this moment you can click on any color generated to copy to the clipboard as hex. In next release I will create an option to export in a palette All the Colors Generated.

You can also make experiments changing the current color selected, with the mouse wheel you can adjust the color you want:
